Project Coordinator - Mobile, Alabama

Job Summary:
> Reports to the Branch Manager – Mobile, AL
> A division of the Operations Department
> Located in Theodore, AL

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
> Participate in weekly planning calls with customers and field project personnel etc.
> Daily project updates pertaining to site activities, going out to all the appropriate parties
> Work with customers on project schedules
> Work with on-site field personnel to ensure delivery schedules are met
> Communicating with field crews for updates to the customer
> Report creation/generation
> Entering data and tracking the progress of projects
> Invoice generation, approval, and disputes
> Estimate projects and put together budgets
> Write and present proposals based on estimates
> Perform site walks to determine what is needed for projects
> Understand trucking from legal loads to super loads
> Create route/site survey reports
> Understand SPMTs transports and load-outs
> Work with on-site field personnel to ensure delivery schedules are met
> Assist with tracking labor and equipment rentals for T&M projects
> Assist with tracking project progress and update clients
> Request vendor pricing for job-specific products/services (mats/barging/rental equipment/etc.)
> Review completed bids
> Assemble and organize tender packets per client-specific standards
> Request permits for equipment loads
> Review/approve project-specific vendor invoices
> Create/send out project waybills
> Track rentals for client invoicing (receivables)
> Travel as needed

Education, Experience & Skills:

> High school diploma or equivalent preferred
> Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and Outlook
> Self-sense of urgency, time management and ability to work independently
> Excellent communication skills with people at all levels of the organization
> Experience with trucking/heavy transport

 

Welder/Fitter

Job description
Duties:
- Perform welding and fitting tasks according to project specifications and drawings
- Operate and maintain various welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders
- Utilize machining tools to fabricate and modify metal parts
- Assemble and install metal structures and components
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to codes and standards for welding and fabrication
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fitting
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings

This position requires a high level of skill in welding and fitting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of metals and be able to interpret technical drawings accurately.
