CDL Class A Driver – New Iberia, LA

DUTIES

    • 3-5 years’ experience in the Heavy Trucking industry preferred
    • Operate within DOT laws and regulations
    • Pulling over dimensional loads
    • Flexibility to travel is a must
    • Must possess a Class A CDL with a clean driving record
    • Must be mechanically inclined
    • Driver must be willing to rig on jobs after delivery of equipment
    • Rigging for crane lifts
    • Operate forklift or other non-crane equipment (as trained)
    • Assemble and provide labor for jacking projects
    • Assemble and provide labor for skidding projects

  • High School diploma or equivalent

    Facility Maintenance

    OVERVIEW

    Conducting route surveys for various over-dimensional loads in conjunction with escorting and assisting with transporting respective loads throughout the United States. This position requires a flexible schedule to be over the road for extended periods of time to meet the hauling requirements.

    DUTIES

    • Maintaining safe working practices for the tasks at hand as well as maintaining assigned PPE
    • Washing equipment
    • Facility maintenance to include grass cutting and other tasks as directed
    • Running errands (with valid license for vehicle used)
    • Manual labor as directed by supervisor
    • Rigging for crane lifts
    • Operate forklift or other non-crane equipment (as trained)
    • Loading/unloading job equipment & inspecting upon leave/return
    • Monthly equipment/facility inspections

      Pilot Car Escort | Operator | Route Surveyor

      OVERVIEW

      Conducting route surveys for various over-dimensional loads in conjunction with escorting and assisting with transporting respective loads throughout the United States. This position requires a flexible schedule to be over the road for extended periods of time to meet the hauling requirements. 

      DUTIES

      • Assist with safely transporting the load while switching lanes, crossing bridges, navigating turns and avoiding overhead obstructions along designated routes·       
      • Assisting the truck driver with identifying traffic, obtaining lanes, load securement, parking areas, and fuel stops·       
      • Run high pole as necessary along designated routes·        Assist driver with heavy haul trailer assembly and disassembly·       
      • Assist driver with truck and trailer maintenance and repair·       
      • Have general knowledge of steering heavy haul trailers·       
      • Conducting route surveys for upcoming oversize transport projects, including documenting obstacles and judging feasibility of transport routes·       
      • Compile route survey data in presentable report format·       
      • Assisting in other operational tasks as designated by the supervisor   

      EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE | SKILLS

      • High School diploma or equivalent  
      • Experience in Heavy Haul Industry preferred  
      • Valid Driver’s License – CDL Preferred 
      • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a pilot car driver or equivalent  
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required  
      • Knowledge of load logistics and state requirements to include permitting for oversize loads is preferred  
      • Should be familiar with basic securement procedures (utilizing chains, binders, tarps, etc.)  
      • Appropriate credentials (Pilot/Escort Certification for applicable states) 

      REQUIRED TRAINING

      • New Hire Orientation  
      • Field Operations to include extensive knowledge of company equipment
